This is Maria. She is a green follower: she sorts the trash, she separates the waste. She puts glass in one bin, paper in another bin and plastic in a different bin. She also uses recycled paper, recycled bags, paper bags and recycled bottles… She takes public transportation: the bus, the train, the underground… and also she tries to do car pooling if they have the same destination. If she had money, she could buy a hybrid car because it’s a car which has 2 energies (electric & gasoline) so you save money on gasoline.

The journalist explains what climate change is on the planet. Climate change is one of the most worrying things for politicians and scientists because it’s the biggest danger we face and we can never come back to what it was before. Ice in Arctic and Antarctica is melting… many species disappear and die (eg: frogs, insects, or fish).

The weather is also changing: it’s warmer or colder. Climate change provokes hurricanes for example. We can’t stop it but we can reduce it by recycling and turning off lights.
